1. Import your platforms into Stayem
Add the iCal link from Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO and any other platform to Stayem. Their bookings appear in your Stayem calendar automatically and refresh as they change. A booking made on VRBO is still managed in VRBO — Stayem simply reflects it.
2. Point every platform at Stayem
On each platform, remove the calendars you were syncing in from the other platforms — those cross-syncs are no longer needed — and add your Stayem calendar link instead. From now on every platform synchronises with Stayem alone: a booking received anywhere, or entered directly in Stayem, is reflected everywhere.
Stayem is now your central calendar and single source of truth. Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO and the rest simply synchronise with it.
Switching is safe — here is why
Additive only
Connecting Stayem to a platform only adds your Stayem dates as one more external calendar. It never edits or deletes the bookings that platform already holds. Your existing Booking.com bookings stay exactly where they are.
Fully reversible
Changed your mind? Remove the Stayem calendar from the platform and re-add the one you used before. You are back exactly where you started — nothing is lost.

Common questions
Will syncing delete or change my existing bookings?+
No. Importing only reads your platform calendars. Exporting only adds Stayem’s dates to a platform as an extra external calendar — it never touches the bookings that platform already has. Your Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO bookings are never modified or removed.
Can I undo it if I get nervous?+
Completely. Remove the Stayem calendar from the platform and re-add the one you had before. You are back to your starting point — nothing is lost. Nothing about syncing is permanent.
Can I test it without any risk first?+
Yes — a 60-second test proves it. Add a soft booking in Stayem on a date you know is free, import your Stayem calendar into the platform, and watch it appear. Then delete the soft booking in Stayem, re-sync, and watch it disappear. No real booking is ever involved.
What is the difference between import and export?+
Import brings your platforms’ bookings into Stayem. Export sends Stayem’s availability out to every platform. Together they make Stayem your one source of truth, with every platform mirroring it.
Will my closed season and owner blocks sync too?+
