Does a direct booking block my channels too?+
Yes. Direct bookings live on the same master calendar as your imported ones, so the dates go out over your iCal export to every channel that subscribes to it — the same way a channel booking blocks your direct availability.
Can I hold dates for someone who has not decided yet?+
Yes. Soft-book the range and it paints as a provisional hold rather than a confirmed stay, so the dates are visibly spoken for. If they do not commit, mark the days available again and the hold clears.
How do guests find me in the first place?+
That is the other half of direct bookings, and it has its own page: a public storefront for each property, an embeddable availability widget for your own site, and machine-readable feeds so AI assistants and search engines can read your real open dates.
